Compliance and Reporting

The OIE provides vital data for internal and external surveys and reports. The office directs the compliance function to ensure DMGS observes institutional policies and procedures. The office is responsible for knowledge of all policies, processes and procedures associated with applicable laws and regulations at the federal and state levels.  The institution is required to complete annual reports for the District of Columbia Higher Education Licensure Commission (HELC) and the federal Higher Education General Information Survey (HEGIS) Series.

IPEDS

The DMGS is a participating institution in IPEDS data collection. All surveys required for our institutional type as determined by IPEDS is up-to-date including retention, enrollment, and graduation rates.
