Annual Giving Program FAQ SHEET
OUR MISSION
DMGS is an innovative school for career and leadership advancement. We educate and prepare future national security and intelligence practitioners and leaders to take major roles in ensuring the safety and security of all.
THE ANNUAL FUND
Gifts to the Annual Fund directly support the mission of the Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security. The annual fund directly measures the level of engagement and belief in an organization and speaks to the core of the School. We are creating practitioner-driven studies in national intelligence and security. We are dedicated to training and engaging the next generation of security specialists to serve both the private and public sectors.
The Annual Fund supports the long-term strategic goals of DMGS – funds new initiatives as well as targeted needs. Gifts to the annual fund can be allocated in the following ways:
- Highest Needs
- Student Initiatives
- Faculty Initiatives
- Distinguished Speaker Series
Because we believe wholeheartedly in our mission, 10% of the total raised will be awarded directly to our community members through a competitive grant program. Awards will be $1,500 each to support faculty research and travel or student fellowships.
Our goal with the annual fund is to achieve 100% participation among staff, faculty, and students. Every dollar counts. Whether you give $1 or $1 million – you are directly supporting our ability to carry out our mission and strive toward our future goals.
